2010 Rumpke Collection Schedule

RUMPKE OF KENTUCKY
2010 SCHEDULE

HOLIDAYS - Rumpke observes six holidays a year for residential customers. If one of your collection days falls on or after an observed holiday during that week, your collection day for that week will be postponed one day. If a holiday occurs on a Saturday or Sunday, your collection day will not change.

NEW YEAR’S DAY - Friday January 1, 2010. NO CHANGE

MEMORIAL DAY - Monday May 31, 2010. There will be no collections on Memorial Day, May 31. Rumpke will begin this week’s collection on Tuesday by servicing the regular Monday routes. All services this week will be one day later than usual. COLLECTION DAY’S WILL BE TUESDAY, JUNE 1, 2010 AND FRIDAY, JUNE 4, 2010. RECYCLING WILL BE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 4, 2010.

LABOR DAY - Monday September 6, 2010. There will be no collections on Labor Day, September 6. Rumpke will begin this week’s collection on Tuesday by servicing the regular Monday routes. All services this week will be one day later than usual. COLLECTION DAYS WILL BE TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2010 AND FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2010. RECYCLING WILL BE ON FRIIDAY, SEPTEMER 10, 2010.

THANKSGIVING DAY - Thursday, November 25, 2010. Rumpke will provide regularly scheduled services Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week. There will be no collections on Thursday, November 25, 2010. COLLECTION WILL BE ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2010. RECYCLING WILL BE ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2010.

CHRISTMANS DAY - Saturday, December 25, 2010. Rumpke will provide regularly scheduled services this week. NO CHANGE

JUNK DAYS
There are two (2) scheduled junk collection dates this year.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2010

PLEASE NOTE
Rumpke will also pick up one large item a week (water heater, furniture, etc) at not additional cost. You must call Rumpke at (502) 568-3800 to let them know what will be set out.
