INSURANCE REMINDER

City Treasurer Bill Galloway reports that residents have paid all taxes assessed upon real estate for the current year. Property owners are reminded that Glenview Hills receives a portion of its annual revenues from taxes assessed on premiums paid for title insurance, life insurance, casualty and liability insurance on home, car, marine and other risks and perils. The tax is five percent (5%) and amounts to approximately $16,000.00 per year.

Please check your vehicle license renewal form and your insurance premium invoices to make sure that the taxing authority is correctly identified as Glenview Hills (rather than Glenview or the City of Louisville) and insure that the City will receive these revenues.
